Our Assistants
Jackie McGregor
Jackie has been working in the dental industry for over 15 years and 10 years here with Dr. Laska & Associates. You can usually find her assisting one of our dentists, greeting patients at the front desk, or helping patients with TMJ, sleep or bite related issues. Jackie has specialized and extensive training with LVI Global, American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, Myofunctional Research, and Sleep Therapy.
Outside of the office you will find Jackie driving a tractor, or showing purebred Angus cattle at major shows in North America. When she’s not busy with her cows, Jackie is putting in extensive training or competing as an elite level age group triathlete.
Diana Carver
Diana was born and raised in the valley. Her family roots here are strong. She lives in Petawawa with her husband Jeff. Diana has two sons and is extremely proud of her boys. Jacob is a registered dietitian and Thomas is a physics/math teacher.
Diana is a firm believer in the oral-systemic link found in health care. Diana recently traded her dental hygiene hat for a dental assistant position in our office. After graduating from her dental assisting program at Canadore College, Diana worked in Ottawa for one summer as a dental assistant before entering into the dental hygiene program at Cambrian College. Her vast dental knowledge/ experience has allowed Diana to adapt quickly to assisting once again and she is dedicated to her new position and providing the best possible services to our patients.
Michelle Burgess
Michelle is a Level II Dental Assistant and graduated in 2002 from Durham college in Oshawa. She has been working within the Valley since 2006. Michelle along with her husband, Adam and children, Chloe and Theron, reside in Killaloe. In the winter time you will find her out on the trails snowmobiling or ice fishing, in the summer time you can find her camping or relaxing in her back yard by the pool.
